Becoming Dallas Willard The Formation of a Philosopher, Teacher, and Christ Follower bookGary W. Moon, Ph.D., is a distinguished scholar in the fields of psychology and Christian spirituality. He holds a Ph.D. from Fuller Theological Seminary and serves as the Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Spiritual Formation at Richmont Graduate University. Moon is also the founding Executive Director of the Martin Institute for Christianity and Culture and the Dallas Willard Center for Christian Spiritual Formation at Westmont College in California​

In addition to his academic roles, Moon directs the DMin program in spiritual direction at Fuller Theological Seminary and was instrumental in establishing the Renovaré International Institute for Christian Spiritual Formation​. He has authored several influential books, including Becoming Dallas Willard, Apprenticeship with Jesus, and Falling for God. His work focuses on the integration of psychology, theology, and spiritual formation, contributing significantly to discussions in these areas​.
