“A HISTORY OF CHRISTIANITY IN AMERICA: THE HOLINESS AND PENTECOSTAL MOVEMENTS”
An overview of the history, theology, and notable people associated with the Holiness movement of the late 1800s and the Pentecostal movement of the early 20th century.
Learn about George Muller, Hudson Taylor, the Keswick (“Higher Life”) movement, Oswald Chambers, and the origins of Holiness denominations including the Church of God (Anderson, Indiana), the Christian and Missionary Alliance, and the Church of the Nazarene.
We will also study the origins of American Pentecostalism (including the Azusa Street Revival, etc.), the historic and modern controversies related to the gifts of tongues, healing and prophecy, the origins of major Pentecostal denominations such as the Church of God and the Assemblies of God, and notable individuals such as Aimee Semple McPherson.

“INTRODUCTION TO BIBLIOLOGY: What Every Christians Should Know about the Origins, Composition, Inspiration, Interpretation, Canonization, and the Transmission of the Bible Through the Centuries”

An essential course for Christians who take their faith seriously and want to be equipped to better understand, explain and defend why we believe the Bible to be the inspired and authoritative written Word of God. Topics include…
o What is it about the Bible that makes it unique among all the religious texts in history?
o What is the evidence that the Bible was divinely inspired?
o What are the basic principles of proper biblical interpretation?
o Why were certain books included or excluded from the biblical text?
o Has the Bible been accurately preserved and transmitted through the centuries — or has it been corrupted in the process?
o What should Christians understand about the various biblical translations that are available?
o Are there differences between how Protestants and Roman Catholics interpret the Bible?

Based in part on Eric Metaxas’s bestseller, “Letter to the American Church,” this course focuses on America’s current crises — and the lessons that Christians can learn from the life and legacy of Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
There has never been a more critical election in American history than what we face in 2024. This course is an in-depth analysis of the spiritual, moral, cultural and political consequences of radical secularism and atheistic left-wing ideology, and the need for Christians to boldly confront these toxic influences and fulfill our calling to be a source of Light, Love, Hope and Truth in every area of life.
